Simon continues to research the effectiveness of EMDR across a range of populations and settings. In 2020 he published his research on using EMDR with individuals who are suicidal, and has subsequently delivered workshops to an international audience. By taking a trauma informed approach, his ethos is to increase the settings EMDR can be used in a well as increasing the evidence base highlighting the number of clinical presentations EMDR can be used with.
